Reservation Policy
The purchase of any service constitutes that the passenger or client accepts all the terms and conditions indicated in this document.
Agencies/sellers must communicate these Terms and Conditions to their clients before booking. They assume responsibility for transferring all information related to the service.
Once the reservation is confirmed. Agencies/vendors must send each passenger their medical record by email. It is of utmost importance, since with these data the insurance form for the corresponding legal coverage is completed.
The current rates and conditions may vary without prior notice at the request of the service provider, that is, in some cases modifications may be applied, which will be informed to you.
The confirmation of each reservation will be made, as mentioned, by email to info@imaginechalten.com where any change in the service will be indicated, if necessary, such as schedules, cancellation, postponement or change of date due to force majeure.
Payments and Deadlines
The rates for the contracted services are subject to changes in currency exchange rates or price increases, which may produce a justified increase in the agreed price. In the event that the client/passenger does not agree to pay said adjustment, the total amount received up to that moment will be returned, less the expenses derived from the banking transaction carried out.
Prices will remain fixed and immovable once full payment has been made.
Reservations and blocks that are not paid in the corresponding amounts and terms may be automatically canceled without prior notice. All service reservations will be considered only as “Blocks”, becoming “Confirmed Reservations” only once the deposit payment has been received.
If you make a reservation, within 72 hours of confirmation, 20% of the total must be paid as a DEPOSIT (Otherwise it will be considered a block and is subject to cancellation or modification). The remaining 80% must be paid in full before the date of service.
If the reservation is made close to the departure date or within the aforementioned deadlines, full payment will be requested once the service is requested.
Bank Data and Quotes
The services expressed are in Argentine pesos. All proof of payment must be sent to info@imaginechalten.com. We accept credit, debit and pre-travel cards. To pay by payment link or cash, contact us by the aforementioned email, or WhatsApp +54 9 11 3779-7700. Bank transfers may take up to 72 business hours.
Take into account the date of payment, since the passenger must be paid 20 (twenty) days before the service.

All digital channels issue an automatic electronic invoice. At the time of making the payment, your data entered will be the ones that correspond to the invoice.
Cancellation policy
There will be no refund or compensation, in those circumstances where the passenger(s) do not show up at the indicated time and/or place of the requested service, whatever the reason, there will be no refund or compensation.
A change of dates will be treated as a cancellation of the original reservation and relocated to the new dates, in which case the cancellation costs will be applied.
Cancellation due to Weather Conditions
The activities require certain weather conditions to guarantee safety. And this mountainous region is characterized by its sudden climatic changes.
If the company considers that the activity should always be canceled for preventive purposes, we will offer another day to reschedule. Or otherwise the 100% paid will be returned.
Cancellation Costs
If the client is forced to cancel the reservation, he must notify us by e-mail. A cancellation will take effect from the date the notification is received by Imagine Chaltén. All cancellations will be subject to a charge of a percentage of the total price of the service and the following scale indicates the maximum that can be charged in each circumstance:
Between 45 and 30 days before the service, there will be a charge of 20% of the total reservation.
Between 29 and 15 days before the service, 30% of the total reservation.
Between 14 and 11 days of service, 50% of the total reservation.
10 days before service. There will be no refund of the amount paid.
Cancellation Due to Force Majeure
We will consider reasons of force majeure and regardless of the date of cancellation; airport closures due to attempted terrorism or for prevention and control of epidemics and/or pandemics, including the closure of airports due to COVID 19.
Due to extraordinary health situations; such as suffering from serious illnesses that make it impossible to carry out the reserved service or death of members of the reserve.
For the above cases, proof documents may be requested to support the cancellation. In these cases we will do everything possible to generate a refund of the total amount paid, without guaranteeing that we can do so since we will have to deduct the costs of securities incurred in the reservation and suppliers. The refund time may vary depending on the case and cancellation date.
Requests for cancellations of reservations due to force majeure must be made by passengers only through email and will be responded to through the same means, info@imaginechalten.com.
Use of images and Marketing
You agree that we can use and reproduce images, photos or videos that you send us or that are taken by our guides or other travelers in which you appear individually or within a group, in any medium (Internet, print, electronic media…), free of charge, for promotion and advertising throughout the world.
