Itinerary

The trail to Laguna Torre begins from town and passes leisurely through the Ñires forest before entering the Valle del rio Fitz Roy.

>> The trail follows the valley paralleling the milky river waters that drain from the lake. La Cascada Margarita is a beautiful waterfall we will pass along the way.

>> The first 3km are the steepest and arrive at a spectacular lookout where we can catch our first glimpse of Cerro Torre and a panoramic view of the valley filled with glacier capped peaks and Patagonian Forest.

>> Further along, the trail is quite flat as it meanders through Lengas and Ñires trees before reaching the moraine that borders Laguna Torre and a short distance further, the lake itself.  Once at the lake, we will take in the glorious view and enjoy a few well earned creature comforts.

>> After enjoying the landscape, we will return to the town along the same path.
